The Wild Pacific Retreat: Tofino BC Retreat | March 19-24 2027

For women who are ready to say YES to connecting with west-coast nature, immersing themselves in self love and learning to appreciate the art of slowing down.

For the ones who seek wild ocean air, sisterhood in motion, and a chance to show up for themselves with laughter, strength, and community. Welcome to…

Our Being Brave Club retreats are designed to:

🔥 Get you out of your comfort zone in the safety of a supportive, welcoming environment.
🔥 Inspire you to go after even more in your day-to-day life.
🔥 Shake up your routine and remind you just how much you’re capable of.

Some of what we’ll be doing might feel scary as sh*t -and that’s normal, even just showing up can feel spicy. When that fear creeps in, know that we’ve got your back. Whether it’s talking it through, screaming it out, holding your hand, or just hyping you up: we’re in this together.

By the time you head home, you’ll be able to say “I DID THAT.” And that confidence? It’s coming with you.

Our Wild Pacific Retreat strips away distractions and places you in one of the most beautiful and natural places on this earth. Just you, the wild, and a group of incredible women supporting each other as we bathe in rich forests, explore iconic beaches, take in the natural beauties the area has to offer and spice it up with a little discovery from the air.

Good women. Wild coast. Zero pressure to be anything but yourself.

This retreat is specifically designed for women who:

🔥 Want and need a real break from their routine.
🔥 Are active people that desire a chance to slow and learn to appreciate the beauty around them.
🔥 Want to be part of a true community, where we lift each other up, no cliques, just camaraderie.
🔥 Aren’t afraid of a little rain, a little mud, or a little adventure.
🔥 Can roll with the unexpected and make any moment fun.
🔥 Feel most like themselves near water, in the forest, or on a boat

And for those who long for:

✨ Meaningful connection with like-minded women in a child-free, substance-free space.
✨ Excitement, awe, and a fresh perspective that only time near the ocean can bring.
✨ Deep conversations, big laughs, and quiet restorative moments

If you’re ready to disconnect to reconnect, surround yourself with women who will cheer for you, not compete with you, this is your sign.

You’re the kind of woman who can spend the morning in the ocean, the afternoon exploring the forest, and the evening sharing stories over tacos and hot tub dips.

We’re calling in women who are:

  • Easygoing and kind
  • Curious about life
  • Open to new experiences
  • Supportive of other women
  • Quick to laugh
  • Up for anything
  • Grounded but adventurous

This type of retreat tends to attract women who value both independence and connection, those who are comfortable carving their own path (ex: road tripping -potentially solo- across an island) while also showing up fully for shared experiences. If you love the idea of meaningful group moments and having space to yourself when you need it, you’ll likely feel very aligned here.

I’m Crystal, and I believe bravery isn’t about being unafraid, it’s about taking action despite the fear. As a photographer, adventurer, and storyteller, I’ve built a career helping women step outside their comfort zones, whether that’s in front of the camera, on an epic adventure, or in their every day lives.

I’ve never been fearless, and I don’t think that’s the goal. I’ve felt fear in so many moments -starting my own business, saying yes to things I wasn’t sure I was ready for, standing at the edge of an adventure that felt bigger than me. But I’ve also learned that bravery is built in those exact moments: the ones where fear is loud, but you move forward anyway.

Adventure has been my greatest teacher. It has shown me how strong I am, how capable, how wildly alive I can feel when I stop overthinking and just go for it. It’s why I created Being Brave Club, because I know what it’s like to need a push, a reminder, a group of people who say, “You’ve got this.” And I also know the magic that happens when you prove to yourself that you do.

I’ve also found that there’s so much adventure to be found in slowing down and appreciating the world around us. In our own back yard or a bucket list destination like Tofino. And that is the theme of this particular retreat. Appreciating, breathing, noticing, and taking in the vast and incredible coast.

Allison is Crystal’s retreat wing-woman and an essential part of holding the container for this experience. With extensive experience running her own retreats, she brings a calm, grounded presence and a natural ability to anticipate what’s needed before anyone even has to ask, earning her the unofficial title of “retreat mum” in the best way possible.

She helps set the tone for ease and relaxation from the moment you arrive, and is known for asking the kind of thoughtful, meaningful questions that open up real connection and conversation within the group.

When she’s not supporting her clients in getting clear on what they actually want and guiding them toward aligned action, you’ll likely find her with an espresso in hand, writing, out walking her dog Bear by the river with Crystal, or taking intentional time to rest and reset.

Carolyn – Farroh Wild Photography

We are so excited to have Carolyn as our retreat photographer! She has a rare gift for documenting moments exactly as they unfold: honest, raw, and real.

She is a Canadian adventure and travel photographer who has built her life around exploration long before it ever became content. With a camera always in hand, she has traveled widely, immersing herself in landscapes and experiences that shape the way she sees and documents the world. From mountain trails to coastal rainforests, she is constantly drawn to nature, movement, and the feeling of being fully alive in a place.

Her approach is deeply unobtrusive. Rather than directing or staging moments, she moves with the experience allowing things to unfold naturally so nothing feels forced or interrupted. The result is imagery that feels genuine, emotional, and true to how it actually felt to be there.

Beyond her work, Carolyn brings a grounded, easy presence to the retreat space. She is equal parts observer and participant and invaluable to our retreat experience.

Tofino is a destination for anyone who appreciates nature, water and the raw and stunning beauty this earth has to offer. And if you’re one of those people, it’s on your bucket list. It’s one of those destinations that I hear people say: Oh I want to go there someday or Oh my god, I LOVED Tofino, I want to go back someday.

Well hun, there are seven days in a week and someday isn’t one of them. (Common, Crystal saying).

So we’re making it happen. A truly bucket list trip to one of the most sought after destinations on the globe and one that just might even alter your brain chemistry forever.

March in Tofino has a quieter, more grounded kind of beauty. The crowds are thinner, the air is crisp, misty and everything feels fresh without being busy. The rainforest is especially vibrant this time of year, deep greens, damp earth, and that clean, coastal air you don’t really get anywhere else.

It’s the kind of place where you can slow down, walk the beaches, and actually hear yourself think.

One of the most unique parts is spending time in the old-growth forests, standing beside trees that are over 800 years old and physically reaching out to touch them. There’s something surprisingly powerful about that moment if you take the time to appreciate it. It puts life into perspective in a way that sticks with you.

This retreat isn’t just about getting outside, it’s about getting into the wild, into the kind of experiences reset you, and leave you feeling more alive than ever. There’s no better place to do that than here.

Surrounded by fresh ocean air, untamed wilderness, and a landscape that makes you feel small in the best possible way. This is Canada at its most raw and beautiful, and we can’t wait to share it with you.

We’re so lucky to be staying at a private waterfront resort exclusively to ourselves in Tofino. What makes this place so special isn’t just the charm of the A-frame cabins, it’s the feeling of having a true sanctuary.

This isn’t just somewhere to sleep at night; it’s a space designed to fully step out of everyday life and actually retreat.

A place where you can slow down, press pause, connect with others, or simply take quiet time for yourself without interruption.

Our resort includes a barrel sauna, cold plunge, and cedar hot tub, giving you space to fully unwind and reset between adventures.

It’s also sooo ideally located, close enough to local amenities for convenience, but tucked away enough that you can sit back and watch the sun glisten across the water in total stillness.

The vibe of this retreat is intentionally grounded, and easy: chill at its core, with well-timed splashes of adventure and moments of genuine awe.

The focus is being in nature, staying present, and reconnecting with a more grounded version of yourself through time spent on the land and along the ocean in Tofino.

Throughout the week, there’s an underlying sense of respect and gratitude for the land and ocean that are opening themselves up for us to experience. We move with intention here, not to consume the experience, but to be in relationship with it.

We’ll cook our meals together, create together, explore together, and support each other as a group, while also leaving space for quiet moments, personal reflection, and whatever shifts naturally arise.

Nothing is rushed (we hope!) and nothing is forced. There’s room for connection, for pause, and for the kind of magic that tends to show up when you slow everything else down.

THE WEATHER IN MARCH

Think moody Twilight coastal energy, where the light shifts soft and golden, and everything feels a little slower, a little more cinematic. We can expect a mix of sun, rain, and that signature West Coast mist, with the possibility of an iconic storm rolling in. People travel here specifically for storm-watching in the winter, and when it happens, it’s something you feel as much as you see.

The beautiful part is that even in the rain or a light coastal chill, it’s still comfortable enough to be outside. In fact, it adds to the atmosphere: mist on the trees, waves in the distance, and that quiet, reflective stillness that makes this place feel so grounded. Rather than taking away from the experience, the weather becomes part of it, deepening the sense of serenity this retreat is designed to hold.

This retreat is designed to experience Tofino in a way that feels both grounding and expansive. The days are intentionally balanced: time to explore, move your body, and try something new, paired with space to slow down, reset, and actually take it all in.

You’ll spend your time surrounded by ocean, forest, and fresh coastal air, with moments of adventure woven in. It’s not about rushing from one thing to the next: it’s about being present for it, connecting with nature, and leaving feeling clearer, calmer, and more like yourself.

Your island experience begins with an optional self-guided drive from your arrival point to Tofino and it’s one you’ll want to take your time with. Along the way, we recommend a few must-see stops like Goats on the Roof, Little Qualicum Falls, and Cathedral Grove, each offering its own unique taste of the island’s charm and natural beauty.

We highly recommend arriving a day early so you can connect with fellow retreaters and turn the journey into an unforgettable road trip from either Victoria or Nanaimo. You’ll receive a curated guide with the best stops, hidden gems, and photo-worthy moments to make the most of your time on the coast.

The retreat officially begins with a relaxed welcome reception in the evening: your chance to settle in, meet the group, and ease into the experience ahead.

We’ll start the day with an early rise for an opening circle and smudge, and breakfast setting the tone for the days ahead. From there, we head straight into our first excursion: whale watching along the coast of Tofino.

The afternoon shifts into a slower pace with relaxed beach combing, time to wander, breathe, and take it all in. In the evening, unwind back at the resort with a self-guided spa circuit, making the most of the hot tub and sauna to fully relax and reset.

Today leans into adventure. We’ll start the morning with a drive to Ucluelet for an easy, scenic hike along the Pacific Wild Trail, taking in the rugged coastline and ocean views at a relaxed pace. After some time spent on another epic beach, the highlight of the day (maybe the trip!) is our scenic helicopter tour! An unforgettable experience that gives you a completely different perspective of the coast. From above, you’ll see the wild stretch of shoreline, dense rainforest, and open ocean in a way that’s hard to put into words and even harder to forget.

We’ll wrap the day with an evening hike to one of the best viewpoints in Canada, ending on a quiet, grounded note after a day that covers both land and sky..

We’ll start early to catch the low tide and explore the beach caves, one of those experiences you can only time just right on this coast.

In the afternoon, we’ll slow things down with a relaxed picnic together before heading out by boat to explore a nearby island and take in the Big Tree Trail, where towering old-growth forest gives you a real sense of the scale and history of this place.

During this part of the day, we’ll also experience a mini forest bathing session. Forest bathing is a simple, guided practice of slowing down and intentionally immersing yourself in the natural environment.

The evening is yours to spend however you’d like. Keep it low-key and rest up after the day, sink into the hot tub and sauna back at the resort, or head out into town for dinner and explore a little more of the local vibe, whatever feels best for you in the moment.

Bucket list day. We’ll head out by boat to one of the most iconic experiences in the Tofino area: Hot Springs Cove. This is a nearly full-day excursion, combining ocean views, a coastal boardwalk through the rainforest, and the reward of natural geothermal hot springs right along the shoreline. It’s the kind of experience that feels equal parts wild and relaxing and one you won’t forget.

In the evening, we’ll come back together for a shared dinner to celebrate the week, reflect on everything we’ve experienced, and soak in the last night as a group.

We’ll start the morning with breakfast together and a closing circle to reflect on the week, share final moments, and properly land the experience as a group. After that, we’ll hit the road and begin the journey back home from Tofino. If time allows, we recommend you make a couple of optional stops along the way at waterfalls or scenic pull-offs: an easy, beautiful way to extend the experience just a little longer before heading back into everyday life.

WHALE WATCHING

Spring is prime time for whale activity in Tofino, with Grey Whales being the most commonly spotted as they migrate and settle into the area. There’s also a chance to see Humpbacks and Transient (Bigg’s) Killer Whales.

And it’s not just about the whales, along the way we may encounter sea lions, sea otters, seals, and eagles, making the entire experience feel like a true West Coast wildlife safari.

HOT SPRINGS

Cruise into the wild, with this full day bucket list excursion, untouched beauty of Clayoquot Sound as we make our way from Tofino to the remote and iconic Hot Springs Cove. The boat ride alone feels like part of the adventure, winding through coastal inlets and open ocean, with the chance to spot whales, sea otters, eagles, and other wildlife along the way.

Once we arrive, we’ll follow a boardwalk through lush rainforest, where everything feels a little quieter, a little more still. At the end of the trail, you’re met with natural hot spring pools flowing into the ocean. Warm water, fresh air, and nothing but nature around you. You’ll have time to soak, explore, and fully take it in before heading back, relaxed and reset from one of the most unique experiences on the coast.

HIKING

The Cox Bay Lookout hike is a short but steep climb that gets your heart rate up without taking up your whole day. It’s considered moderately challenging, with a bit of elevation and some rooty, uneven terrain, but it’s very doable at a steady pace. The reward at the top is what makes it unforgettable: sweeping views over Cox Bay and the open Pacific, where you can watch waves roll in and take in the raw, wild beauty of the coastline from above. It’s the kind of view that makes the effort feel more than worth it.

The Wild Pacific Trail – Lighthouse Loop near Ucluelet is an easy, well-maintained coastal walk that’s accessible for all fitness levels. The trail is mostly flat with a few gentle inclines, making it more of a relaxed stroll than a hike. What makes it so special is the constant ocean views: rugged cliffs, crashing waves, and endless coastline the entire way. It’s an easy, high-reward experience that captures the raw beauty of the West Coast without requiring much effort.

Our Big Tree Trail experience starts with a scenic boat ride to Mears Island, adding an extra layer of adventure before we even step into the forest. Once there, the trail itself is easy and accessible, with flat terrain and a relaxed pace that allows you to fully take it in. The real highlight is the old-growth forest: massive, towering trees that have stood for centuries, creating a quiet, almost humbling atmosphere. It’s less about the hike and more about the feeling of being there, surrounded by something so much bigger and older than yourself.

Forest bathing: We will be fully clothed with no agenda, no rushing, just noticing. It’s about engaging your senses, being present in the forest atmosphere, and allowing your nervous system to naturally downshift. It’s less about “doing” and more about being in the space and letting nature do the work.

EXPLORING

There’s no shortage of places to explore around Tofino, and part of the experience is taking intentional time to slow down and actually wander. We’ll spend time exploring some of the area’s beautiful beaches, including the beach caves at Chesterman Beach, a unique, tide-dependent spot that feels a little hidden and off the beaten path.

Alongside the exploring, we’ve also built in intentional moments and simple guided activities designed to deepen connection within the group and help you practice noticing: your surroundings, your thoughts, and the present moment itself. It’s a way of moving through the experience with more awareness, so the little details don’t get missed.

HELICOPTER TOUR

This is the moment that takes everything to another level. Our helicopter tour over Long Beach and Pacific Rim National Park Reserve is short—just about 15 minutes—but it’s one of those rare, bucket list experiences that stays with you long after it’s over.

Lifting off the ground and seeing the coastline from above completely shifts your perspective. The stretch of untouched beach, the dense rainforest, the endless Pacific. It’s not something most people ever get to do, and it gives you a view of this place that very few get to experience. Quick, powerful, and unforgettable.

This retreat is designed as a fully immersive experience where everything has been thoughtfully taken care of so you can simply arrive to Tofino and be present. From having a private waterfront resort all to ourselves to a carefully curated coastal experience, this is a journey that blends comfort, exploration, and connection in one place. Most meals are shared together, with one evening set aside for you to explore on your own, and all transportation to excursions is included so you can fully stay in the experience without having to think about logistics.

Across the week, you’ll move through a series of iconic coastal experiences: helicopter views over the coastline, whale watching, a hot springs boat journey, and guided hikes through some of the most stunning areas on the island, alongside time for forest bathing, exploring, and simply being in nature.

One of the most meaningful layers of this retreat is having a dedicated professional photographer present throughout the experience, capturing not just what the week looks like, but how it feels, so you leave with both memories and imagery that reflect the full depth of the experience.

Every detail has been intentionally designed to create space for adventure, rest, and connection without distraction, so you can fully step into the week and let it carry you.

There’s a few ways to get to Tofino, here’s our top picks.

1. Fly + Drive (Most Common)

Fly into either Victoria or Nanaimo, rent a car, and drive across Vancouver Island.
This is the most popular route and gives you the flexibility to stop at places like Cathedral Grove or waterfalls along the way. Expect about a 3–5 hour drive depending on where you land.

2. Fly + Float Plane (Fast + Scenic)

For a more elevated (and unforgettable) arrival, you can take a float plane directly into Tofino from Vancouver. It’s about an hour and gives you incredible aerial views of the coast and islands. A bit pricier, but very on-brand for a retreat like this.

3. Drive + Ferry (Road Trip Option)

If you’re coming from the mainland, drive to Vancouver, take a BC Ferries crossing to Vancouver Island (to Nanaimo or Victoria), then continue the drive to Tofino. This is perfect if you want the full road trip experience.

With all these options we suggest buddy-ing up with your fellow retreaters to share costs and capitalize on the experience as new friends!

What are the check in and check out times?
5:30pm check in and 11am check out: The welcome reception will begin at 7pm and the retreat closing circle will be at 9:30am on check out day, please plan to be there for these check in/out times.

What if I don’t want to participate in an excursion that’s included?
No one is ever forced to do anything, this retreat is about choice as much as courage. If you decide to skip an activity, you’re welcome to hang back at camp, relax by the river, journal, or simply enjoy some quiet time to yourself. That said, we do encourage participation, not just for the experience itself, but because the group energy and support are a big part of what makes these adventures so special. Please note that there are no discounts or refunds for excursions you might choose to sit out.

Are flight’s or transportation included?
Flights and transportation to/from are not included because there’s no way for us to know where the all lovely ladies joining us are coming from/flying into. These events are open to women from anywhere and we think it’s so great to have a geographically diverse group!

Is there transportation during the retreat?
Yes. We’ll have up to two vans available so the group can travel together to all scheduled excursions. Once you arrive in Tofino, everything is coordinated for you, so you can simply settle in, connect with the group, and enjoy the experience without worrying about logistics.

What will the menu be like?
Food is a shared, relaxed part of the experience and we find some of the best retreat moments happen when we’re cooking and eating together. Most meals are included and we’ll take a collaborative approach: preparing breakfasts and dinners at the resort as a group, and packing simple, nourishing lunches for our excursion days.

There may also be opportunities to explore local food trucks or grab something casual in town as part of the experience, adding a bit of local flavour to the week. Groceries and planned meals are all taken care of, so you don’t need to think about logistics or worry about going hungry!

What will the group size be?
We have room for a maximum of nine guests.

How do we connect with fellow attendees to arrange potential carpool or travel plans?
Getting to Tofino is part of the adventure, and we encourage guests to connect ahead of time if they’re interested in coordinating travel or carpooling. While we can’t guarantee shared arrangements, we do provide access to a private retreat Facebook group where attendees can introduce themselves, connect, and make plans together if it feels aligned. It’s a great way to meet others before arriving and potentially turn the journey into part of the experience.

What is the payment plan?
We offer a flexible payment plan with evenly divided monthly payments from the time of booking until 45 days prior to the retreat in Tofino. This allows you to secure your spot and spread out the investment in a way that feels manageable, with everything fully paid off before we arrive.

What happens if I need to cancel?
All bookings are non-refundable. However, your spot is fully transferable, meaning you are welcome to gift or sell your place to another participant if you’re no longer able to attend. We also strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance to protect yourself in the case of any unexpected circumstances that may prevent you from joining us in Tofino.

What additional costs should I be prepared for?
While most of the retreat experience in Tofino is fully covered, there are a few additional costs to plan for:

  • Your flights and travel to and from the retreat location
  • Tips for excursion guides and service providers
  • Any personal shopping or souvenirs you may want to pick up along the way

  • GST is not included in prices listed above
